Sorry for the long absence! Today I have a new short story released in the Classics Club (Hyouka) Series, titled “Even Though I’m Told I Now Have Wings…” It was originally released in Kadokawa’s Shousetsu, Yasei Jidai publication, from December, 2015 to January, 2016. Click here to read! The story was edited this time by qhp, so I hope you’ll thank him as well!
Sorry about the lack of updates for those who see this. Work has really gotten busy recently, and setting up this site has also taken quite some time too. (I can become such a perfectionist with these kinds of things. Bethesda character creators always take me longer than the actual game.) There are still some things I need to do to pretty it up, especially concerning the main page, but I should be able to speed up my translations soon….
The fifth volume of the Classics Club series, Approximating the Distance between Two People, has been completed! Check here to read it!
A science fiction translation I did back in college. Shin’ichi Hoshi is often considered the father of modern Japanese science fiction. His signature style was what he called the “short-short,” a fable-esque and darkly humorous short story that could be as brief as two pages. He wrote over a thousand of them in his lifetime. The prologue has been completed. Read it here!
